Solution 1: Setup the Manual DNS Servers for TP-Link Router Not Working

  • The first step is to click on DHCP and then visit the DHCP settings, after that put into the Primary DNS field and then click on save.
  • Then go to the System tools and find Reboot. Click on the Reboot button to reboot the Router and finish the Settings.

Solution 2: Power Cycle your Modem and the TP-Link Router

  • First off,  power off your Modem and the TP-Link router, and then leave them off for a minute or so.
  • After that unplug the power cord of your Modem and unscrew the coaxial cable.
  • Then connect your Modem to the WAN port of your Router and after that make sure that the Router is powered on.

  • After that wait for a couple of minutes and then reconnect the coaxial cable.
  • In the end, wait for the Modem to reconnect and then again check for the IP and service.

Solution 3: Reset the Router and Reconfigure it Manually

Why does my TP-Link Router Say No Internet access After Connecting to Wireless (Windows OS)?

You have set up your wireless router and successfully connected to your wireless network but you still cannot figure out the problem since you cannot access the Internet, here is what you can do – 

Step 1: Modify the LAN IP Address of Router

Important Note: Most of the TP-Link Router use 192.168. 0.1/192.168. 1.1 as their default LAN IP address or create TPLink Router login issue with IP Range of your existing ADSL Modem/Router.

If your Router is not able to communicate with your Modem and you are unable to access the internet.


  • Check if the wireless network connection of your Computer is OK  to obtain an IP address automatically, and then obtain a DNS server address automatically.
  • Press the Window + R key on the keyboard at just the same time to open the Run application, type ‘CMD’ and then click OK. After that type ‘ipconfig-all’ in the coming window and then press enter.
  • For logging in to the web management page of the Router, open the Web Browser and input http://tplinkwifi.net:. Then type the login username and password and then click on OK . For this the default username and password are both admin.
  • As soon as you log in, you need to check the WAN section on the Status page. You need to check whether an IP address is listed or not. 
  • If it is listed, then it means that the router is successfully configured and connected to the internet connection.
  • If the IP address is not listed, then for that kindly check the physical connection or call your internet service provider to check through the line.
  • If in case, there is an IP address on the WAN section of the status page, then test the internet connection by pinging a public IP address (such as On and off chances that this fails, in such a situation release/renew the WAN IP address.
  • For that, please visit the DHCP and then open the settings and type in for the primary DNS and then for the secondary DNS, and then click on save.
  • At the end, Reboot your Router, try the Internet connection again  by browsing through a reliable website and TPLink Login again.
